A pop violinist plays the songs people actually listen to now. The melody comes from the violin, live, while a backing track carries the beat. Guests recognise the song within a few notes, which is why pop sets get people filming, singing along and dancing.
Why pop on violin works
Classical music is beautiful, but most guests do not know it. A pop song they know, played on a violin they do not expect, gets a reaction. It works at a wedding reception, a birthday, a brand party or a hotel lounge.
What a pop violinist plays
- Love songs and ballads for ceremonies, first dances and slow moments.
- Current chart hits for receptions and drinks.
- Dance and party tracks once the lights go down. This is where an electric or LED violinist comes in.
- Arabic and international favourites on request. Ask, and the team will tell you what the free players can do.
- Your requests. Send your songs early so they are ready.

How to choose songs for a pop set
Pick songs by moment, not by favourite. A slow ballad suits the entrance or the first dance. Upbeat hits work during drinks. Save the big dance tracks for when the lights go down.
Songs with a strong, singable melody work best on violin. Tracks that rely on rap verses or spoken parts lose their hook without the voice, so the player may arrange them differently or suggest an alternative.
Send three to five songs you must hear, and anything you do not want played. That short list is enough for the team to plan the whole set around your taste.
Female or male violinist
We book both. Some couples and event planners have a clear preference for the look of the event. Tell us when you ask for options and you will only see players who fit.
Style and look
You choose the outfit colours, so the violinist matches your theme. For stage and party slots, an electric violin with an LED outfit gives the strongest visual.
